By this point, Daxton was clutching his side and falling against Lawton’s chest as he struggled for breath through peals of laughter.

Lawton didn’t know what to say or do, so he just stood there like a humongous jackass, gaping at his pack members.

“You’re all gay?” Daxton managed to choke out a minute later.

“No,” Sawyer answered with a shrug. “Doesn’t mean I don’t like my balls played with, though.”

“I’ll play with your balls,” Rogue cooed with a seductive leer.

“Okay, that’s enough. Everyone get some sleep.” Lawton shook his head at his men’s antics. It was good to see them having fun, though. They were all young guys, and even younger weres. Every one of them had been forced to grow up much too quickly, but they had handled it well. They deserved a little reprieve from all the bad shit they faced.

hoped they found mates anyway. He wasn’t really sure how that worked with turned werewolves, but he didn’t think fate would be cruel enough to dismiss them simply because they weren’t born that way.

The barn finally became quiet except for some rustling sounds as the Changelings tried to get comfortable on the hard ground. The single lantern they’d lit sat in the middle of the floor, giving them only a small circle of light. It was enough for him to see Daxton’s face, though, and the fire burning in his eyes made Lawton’s heart pound and his palms sweat.

The last time he’d had Daxton in his arms had been too rushed and too much about necessity for Lawton’s liking. As his cock swelled inside his pants and pulsed against his fly, he couldn’t deny that he wanted his mate with an intensity akin to pain.
